A large locally sourced maple slab from a neighbors daughter was used as both the top and legs. The legs are crossed to the ends and the middle to create an unusual appearance depicting unsteadiness of an animal on the move. The leg shapes originate from a running deer.
A VOC free and HAP free uv cured monomer with 100% solids finish was used for to promote the longevity of an heirloom quality timeline. The finish is not just waterproof but acetone proof without harsh chemicals polluting the air.
