"My journey into fine art began with a deep-rooted passion instilled by my dad. He taught me the value of pursuing dreams relentlessly. My ancestors were boat builders or shipwrights near rock island in Chicago (Article here)
I first gained experience in Boulder, Colorado with a local decor and shade company. Then moved to Burlington, Vermont to learn from masters in the craft of fine woodworking. There I completed a fine woodworking certification program. While attending, I was simultaneously working as a team lead in another decor company.
My wife, two sons, and I now live in Pennsylvania where I became a Certified Master Home Inspector (C.M.I.) while originally building furniture and art only on the side. After absorbing, 8+ years of building science knowledge, I left inspection to pursue my dreams of helping people make beautiful things together. My professional studio is currently in the Pocono mountains near Little Gap, PA (by Blue Mountain Ski Resort)
I have always wanted to make this world of ours an even better place. I contribute to the Arbor Day Foundation as an Oak Society Member."
Unique Furniture
Fine Furniture Quality & Durability
We believe in creating furniture that will last. Every piece is carefully made with the highest quality materials within your budget, ensuring not only aesthetic appeal but also longevity. We also opt for the best joinery techniques to accommodate wood movement and production times.
Safe Finishes
We prioritize safe finishes that are often VOC free and HAP free. Hard wax oils, modified tung oil, shellac, and 100% soilid UV cured monomer finishes are our top choices. Healthy air and peace of mind without sacrificing durability.
Global Impact, Charitable Initiatives
By sourcing materials carefully, we support small businesses in the USA and aim to reduce the environmental footprint associated with transportation whenever possible. We donate to the Arbor Day Foundation allowing us to make a positive impact on both the environment and communities. See below for more information.
Repairable Furniture For sustainability
Whether you're looking to match existing decor, window treatements or complete a set, we create furniture to complement your style. Your satisfaction is our priority as we strive to deliver designs that exceed your expectations.
Matching Styles
Our designs will not end up in a landfill. We create furniture that can be repaired instead of replaced. This not only promotes sustainability but also helps reduce waste and protects our planet for future generations. This is a smart investment. We stand behind our work, that is what heirloom quality means.
